Imperious Cuckoo is dedicated to capturing monochrome images from across Northern Ireland. We pride ourselves on having an eye for an unusual feature or angle.
Starting out as a hobby, we’ve grown quickly and are constantly extending our range of prints for sale in our online shop, as well as in local galleries and shops. We don’t currently offer overseas shipping through our shop, but drop us an email if you’d like to buy and we can arrange postage.
About Intentional Camera Movement (ICM)
Our photographic style incorporates ICM, meaning images are single exposures but shot using the camera itself to create movement.
We’re blurring the lines between photography and art, shooting with the intent of capturing light, lines and natural movement – creating abstract images that are more than just a static view.
We never use AI in our work.
Weather permitting, we’re out and about most weekends, capturing images from across the country. Got a recommendation for a great location? Get in touch!
